No Damp

Over the last couple of years many of the chemicals we used to use for landscape and gardening purposes have become banned. 'No Damp' is now on the list. Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has recently discontinued the used of the active ingredient 'oxine benzoate' which is found in this fungicide. ('No Damp' was used to prevent damping off of young seedlings, where young plants would get stem and/or root rot and die.)
A new product called "Truban' is now available to control damping off. I found it at our local gardening center. (Remember to follow the directions for use.)
